Garlic Yarg is a distinctive Cornish cow’s milk cheese known for its beautiful natural coating of aromatic wild garlic leaves. Made from pasteurised cow’s milk, this cheese offers a wonderful contrast in both flavour and texture, with a creamy, slightly crumbly interior and a fresh, herbaceous character from the hand-selected wild garlic.
The striking rind is created using wild garlic gathered from Cornish woodlands each spring, with every leaf carefully selected by hand. This gives Garlic Yarg its unique appearance and delicate savoury aroma, while allowing the smooth, mellow cheese beneath to develop its own rich and creamy character.
